In the Beginning (and a sneak peek)

After 5+ years, I am able to redecorate my family room!  No more dingy, dirty, ugly light beige carpeting.  No more ugly dingy waIls!  No more other stuff in there that I don't like :).

According to my timetable, I won't be finished until sometime in April.  We've purchased the flooring but my wonderful Dr. Love isn't going to install it until the last weekend in March.  So I have some time to get my ducks in a row and get painting!

Wow! I love those covers, maybe I should get some for my couch.. I'm with you and the carpet. I really want wood floors but I need time also :)
