Felted Wool
I must admit to being enamoured of late with felted wool. This post on The Purl Bee blog is gorgeous and I would dearly love to make one of these! Just look at this! The textures, the colors, swoon......
Just snuck over and lookie who's blogging again!! I've taken quite a hiatus too...I may or may not get back into it regularly. BUT...I've been interested in felted wool too! I want to take a rug hooking class. Not like the 1970's hooked rugs with yarn, but rather, the old art of rug hooking with felted wool. I can't find anywhere around here that teaches it, but I have some wool gathered for when it happens! Beautiful table covering! Would you let your fam. eat on it, or is it just for pretty? Miss you friend!
After working for 20 years, I'm currently a full-time wife, mother and child-care provider. My husband "Dr. Love" and I have a grown son "Dover" and 18 year old girl-boy twins referred to here as "Miss B." and "Charlie."
I am drawn to all things vintage, am a novice quilter, and also enjoy decorating my home, cooking and generally caring for my family. SmallPeoples House is my childcare business operating out of my home.
