"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27

These are a few of the sheep who reside in the field behind my back yard.

My random, general observations as I study this picture:
Some are paying attention while others aren't.
Not all of them are tagged.
Some are mangy as they shed their old wool.
Some are feeding.
Some are resting.
Some are paying attention to their own needs.
Some are on the alert for danger.
Some are paying no attention at all.
Some are wandering off.

Did I miss anything?

If I was really industrious, I'd find the Bible verses that correspond with each of my observations. I think I'll go do that now.

Grace & Peace,
Leslie

Hey, just saw you on Nesting Place. What a great post! I'm a mom of 6 and can take that great counsel to heart now. The scriptures also mention how we are numbered and he KNOWS us. That concept was unfathomable for me until I had 6 kids. 6 seems like a lot but now I see a small glimpse of what God meant. My children are numbered to me... I KNOW THEM. I know everything about them and they are individuals and loved individually. So glad to see such a real life application! Great post.

That's so neat! I went to a sheep show once and learned all about the different ones. It was so interesting!

Thanks for stopping by today! Good luck!
